Rosewind

a multifamily project inspired by the wind rose

This art collection, comprised of emerging artists, originals + limited edition prints,

explores themes of migration, belonging, and home

SPACIAL RELATIONSHIPS

Adjacency, contiguity, overlap, and proximity- this is paramount not only for animals that move in groups but for those living in multifamily dwellings with people, often on all sides of them.

TOPOPHILIA + BELONGING

topophilia: the affective bond with one's environment—a person's mental, emotional, and cognitive ties to a place, and a sense of home. A specific scent, angle of sunlight or landscape feature can trigger these visceral connections

FLIGHT, FLOW + DIRECTION

Movement and migration applies to flocks, herds + humans and is directly related to the wind rose

Line of Vision

During the art selection process, showing clients the artwork alongside interior design renderings, finishes, and color palette conveys the overall vision and helps clients envision the final space.
